Steve Pratt

Co-founder of Full Package Athletics, Steve is regarded as one of the finest basketball teachers in the nation. He has trained thousands of athletes, including professional athletes Elton Brand, Brad Miller, Thabo Sefolosha, Brian Cook and Ruth Riley among many others. Every summer Steve prepares college players for the NBA Draft. 

Billy Welcome

The president and co-owner of Full Package Boys Basketball, Billy is a fixture at all of Full Package's basketball camps. After playing collegiately at St. Lawrence University in New York, Billy began working at basketball camps across the country. He began working for Full Package as an intern in the summer of 2003 and began working full time at Full Package in June of 2004. Coach Welcome directs Full Package's highly regarded travel basketball program for boys and gives individual and semi-private training lessons. Welcome also runs Full Package's highly successful Fall High Boys Exposure Leagues. Coach Welcome led his teams' to AAU Nationals the past two seasons, capturing the 12-Under State AAU Championship in 2009. 

Theo Owens

Theo starred at Farragut Academy in Chicago before attending Loyola University-Chicago. Coach Owens was recently named to Loyola's 1990 All-Decade basketball team. Owens has coached 4th grade players as well various professional athletes throughout the Chicagoland area for the past 20 years. He began coaching for Full Package in the Spring of 2010. 

Pat Gordon

Pat is known for his on court intensity and incredible attention to detail. He was formerly a Lincoln Park High School (Chicago) sophmore and varsity coach. Currently Pat is the assistant varisty coach at Loyola Academy. Pat has led Full Package to numerous championships, including a state Super Regional Championship and a trip to the AAU Nationals in the spring of 2008. 

Louis Walker

Louis is currently assistant coach at Oakton Community College and formerly was an assistant at South Suburban College and Calumet College. He is a tremendous asset to Full Package program. As the associate head coach of Full Package's 17U Elite team during the spring and summer travel seasons of 2008, Louis helped the teams finish among the best in the country. He will coach the 17U elite travel team during the spring and summer 2011 season. 

Matt Monroe

Matt is currently the head boys' sophomore coach and varsity assistant coach at St. Patrick high school. In 2002 Matt began working with the Full Package program and is currently the head coach of the program's 13U Elite Travel team. As a prominent coach for AAU, he has already had 11 teams qualify for nationals.

Alan Hofman

Alan played high school basketball at Highland Park High School and later walked on at the Unversity of Illinois. He has over 20 years of experience coaching and running youth sports clinics throughout the North Shore. 

Andrew Cronin

A California native, Andrew spent his amateur career playing at Rio Mesa high school where he was voted to team captain. Since then he has helped coach various youth basketball programs around the North Shore. 

Andrew Johnson

Andrew was a Chicago Sun-Times All-State wide receiver and three year varsity basketball player at Stevenson High. After a season ending shoulder injury, he decided to pursue his academic career at the University of Arizona where he studied journalism. He is currently finishing school while interning at Full Package Athletics as well as coaching for the 7th grade boy's team. 

Andy Kaminskas

Benjamin Kaufman

Benjamin began his Full Package coaching career 4 years ago and has grown into one of our most enthusiastic coaches. He has coached 6th through 11th grade travel teams during his Full Package tenure. Benjamin is an assistant coach at Oakton Community College and formerly served as an assistant coach with the Stevenson High School boys’ varsity team.  

Brad Johnstin

Chris Buggs

Coach Buggs hails from Gary, Indiana where he helped lead his high school team to a state championship in 2002. Since then Chris has served as an assistant varsity basketball coach for Terre Haute South high school in Indiana. Currently, Coach Buggs is the assistant varsity basketball coach at his Alma mater high school Gary West. He also continues to train athletes in grade school and on the collegiate level throughout Northwest Indiana. 

Davis Robinson

Davis Robinson is in his second year with Full Package. Coach Robinson's enthusiasm and on-court demeanor are a huge asset to Full Package's youth travel program. Robinson played at Evanston Township High School before playing collegiate basketball at Oakton Community College. In addition to his Full Package duties, Robinson also coaches in numerous Evanston youth basketball leagues.  

Dominic Pavell

Dominic, one of Full Package's longest tenured coaches, has coached at all levels in our travel program. Pavell is a certified personal trainer and has been a part of Full Package's leagues, teams and camps for over six years. 

Eric Kelly

Eric has been a varsity assistant coach at Providence St. Mel High School (Chicago) for the past three years and an important member of Full Package's coaching staff. He has coached several high school teams during his Full Package coaching career with a tremendous amount of success. 

Eric Samuelson

Coach Samuelson was a 4 year varsity standout player at Maine West High School - gaining recognition for All-Conference, All-Area, and All-State Honorable Mention as a senior. Eric played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and North Park University (Chicago). Coach Samuelson is currently the Freshman coach at St. Patrick High School and the Director of the Maine East Feeder Program. Samuelson has coached Full Package (7 years), Barrington Feeder, and several boys and girls camps and clinics in the Chicagoland Area. 

Greg Taylor

Greg Taylor was a three-year varsity standout in basketball and football while attending Loyola Academy. After a successful amateur career he decided to pursue a football career at Morehouse college. Since then, Coach Taylor has been involved in training youth athletes around the North Shore and is currently the freshman assistant basketball coach at Loyola Academy. 

Ian Thomas

Ian Thomas was a triple threat athlete at Maine West High school where he lettered in three different sports. He then took his athleticism to Carthage college where he became a prominent football player. He has recently coached the varsity team at Chicago Academy High School and is currently the freshman boys basketball coach at Deerfield High School. 

Kahleaf Russell

Kahleaf played basketball in college for the University of Miami before transferring to Florida Atlantic University. He began coaching for Full Package in the summer of 2009 and has been a fixture at Full Package's camps, leagues and travel teams ever since. Russell's easy going personality and ability to teach any age, from 4th graders to college athletes, has made him an incredible asset for Full Package.

Jay Iden

Jay Iden received his BS from Illinois State University for Social Science Education. He is currently in his second year as the Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball coach at Round Lake High School and the coach of the 15U Boys Full Package team. Coach Iden has dedicated his talents to Full Package as a coach and trainer. Jay played and graduated from Lake Zurich High School in 2004. After playing, Coach Iden continued to develop his coaching abilities through various camps and clinics and is known for his attention to detail and defensive intensity. Iden's dedicated work ethic and ability to teach any age has made him an outstanding addition to the Full Package family. 

Jeff Monroe

Johnathan Bullock

Coach Bullock was a three year varsity basketball player at St. Joseph High School. He began coaching in 2009 as the assistant varsity boy's basketball coach at Guerin Prep. He is currently pursuing a degree in finance at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

John Clancy

John has been a member of the Full Package family since spring 2009 and is the sophomore coach at Wheeling High School. He coached two high school Full Package teams during the spring 2009 season and served as the sophomore coach at St. Viator High School. John is known for his tremendous ability to motivate and make in game adjustments. 

Jonathan Malats

Jonathan coached one of Full Package's 6th grade travel teams in the spring of 2009 and is a coaching fixture in the Full Package Exposure Leagues. He is also a feeder coach in the Deerfield Young Warriors program. 

Jon Pranian

Jon Pranian is a longtime youth coach and teacher. Coach Pranian started coaching youth basketball at the age of 15 and went on to a professional career as an early childhood teacher, administrator, and developmental specialist. Along with 20 years in the early childhood field, Coach Pranian has over 25 years of youth coaching and training experience in the North Shore. 

Kip Kirpatrck

A former high school player of the year in the state of Kentucky, Kip has the ability to lead by example. After a successful career in high school, Kip continued his play at Northwestern University where he became a three year starter. Since then he has brought his basketball knowledge to the north shore where he coaches various travel teams throughout the Chicago land area. 

Kris Harris

Coach Harris was an all-conference player at Proviso West before transferring to city power Westinghouse, where he won a city championship and his team finished ranked #2 in the country (they defeated Simeon and Derrick Rose in the city championship game). Coach Harris played for Division I Jacksonville State University for one season before finishing out his final 3 years of eligibility playing for Division I University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), where he averaged 10 points and 4 assists per game.

Coach Harris' mantra: Hard work pays off, you have to want to become a better player! Good sportsmanship and Playing together as a team are our goals, and we need to learn to accept the wins and losses. Get better everyday and Work hard Everyday!

Lee Jackson

Lee Jackson is currently in his second year with Full Package. Coach Jackson has coached for multiple Evanston programs, including Chandler - Newburger and the YMCA. Lee played collegiate soccer at Lincoln College and Quincy University. 

Michael Bentley

 Coach Bentley played football for 4 years at Evanston Township. He was the recipient of the most improved football player in the Central Suburban South Conference. Michael began coaching basketball in 2007 for the YMCA. He is currently enrolled at Oakton Community College pursuing a degree in education.

Nick Orham

Coach Oraham was a 2 year varsity player for Crystal Lake South - gaining recognition as a Daily Herald All-Area Selection in 2005. Nick began coaching in 2003 and is currently the Freshman boys basketball coach at Johnsburg High School. 

Nikola Gasic

Coach "Nick" Gasic is in his first year with Full Package and earned his Varsity letters playing basketball at Niles West High School, which was a top-25 team at the time. He also formerly played AAU basketball with Joy of the Game Rising Stars program. Coach Gasic began coaching his freshman year of college at NEIU, where he worked with youth players coaching AAU travel and clinics for Joy of the Game. He also coached summer basketball for the high school freshmen team at Niles West High School. Coach Gasic is currently working with the Maine East Junior Demons in helping to develop the players individual skills. 

Pat Gordon

Gordon is known for his on court intensity and incredible attention to detail. He was formerly the Lincoln Park High School (Chicago) sophomore coach and assistant varsity coach. Gordon recently accepted a varsity assistant coaching position with Loyola Academy. Gordon has led Full Package to numerous championships, including a state Super Regional Championship and a trip to AAU Nationals in the spring of 2008.

Rob Hudson

Coach Hudson has been coaching the Maine West Feeder Basketball program for 18 years, including the past 2 years as the assistant director. In addition to Maine West, Rob has also directed and coached the Northridge Prep Feeder Program. Coach Hudson currently runs the youth baketball program for the Lattof YMCA. 

Ryan Brown

A former standout at Crystal Lake South High School, Ryan continued on to be successful at the collegiate level. At Cal State University, Ryan was a recipient of the triple threat award honoring his skills on and off the court. He has been with Full Package Athletics since 2006 and is currently the head freshman coach at Crystal Lake South High School. 

Scott Scornavacco

Scott is a welcome addition to Full Package boys travel program. Coach Scornavacco played basketball at Highland Park High School and has been coaching youth sports with great passion and enthusiasm in the North Shore for the past 5 years.  

Stephond Robinson

Stephond played high school basketball at Loyola Academy. In 2002, Coach Robinson won a gold medal at the World Masters Basketball Competition in Melbourne, Australia.
 

Stu Lapping

Coach Lapping was a three-year varsity player at Stevenson High School. After graduating from Stevenson, Stu decided to pursue a degree in finance at Indiana University. He is currently an 8th grade boys basketball feeder coach at Stevenson and a welcome addition to the Full Package coaching staff. 

Tom Prokopij

Tom played basketball at Schaumburg High School before becoming the student manager for the Illinois State University Men's basketball team. He has coached several of Full Package's junior high travel teams and directed the Full Package 5th/6th and 7th/8th Grade Exposure Leagues in the fall of 2009, which featured over 120 athletes. Tom is also one of Full Package's top skills instructors and is coaching in the Barrington feeder program during the fall/winter 2009-2010 season.
