The 5^th grade boys’ team overcame an early deficit to defeat the Rising Stars by 18 in the championship game.  Coach Eric Kelly noted his team’s unselfishness and tough defense throughout the tournament led to their title run.

Kelly was pleased by Griffin Boehm’s rebounding and scoring inside, while Spencer Cecola and Scottie Dent were able to pressure the ball defensively, which led to easy transition baskets on the offensive end. 

Coach Kelly was also extremely pleased with Alec Mesrobian’s defense and the unselfish point guard play of Jordan Ohel.

The Full Package 6^th grade team won their second championship of the winter travel season by securing a thrilling overtime win.  Lake Forest’s Ryan Bender hit two free throws to seal the victory in overtime for Full Package.

Coach Josh Foster said the inside tandem of Danny Lowe (15 points) and 5^th grader Evan Boudreaux (12 points) were the key to his team’s victory in the championship game.  Foster said the team has really gelled since the beginning of the season and are playing fantastic all-around basketball.

The Full Package 8^th grade boys’ team defeated Rising Stars in the semi-finals and World Class in the championship game to capture the tournament title. 

Assistant coach Andreas Marmolejo  said  Michael Fleming and Troy Radtke led the team to victory.  Marmolejo said Fleming recorded 18 assists in the semi-final win and Radtke scored 28 points in the championship game. 

Max Golembo’s rebounding, hustle and defense throughout the tournament were keys to the championship run.

The Full Package 8th grade girls won their age division at the For the Game Winter Explosion by going undefeated (6-0).  The team won by an average of 25 points per game.

Coach Matt Truding noted his team’s defensive effort as the key to the team’s success.
